Trevanté J. Watson

Trevanté J. Watson is the Founder and Partner of Consumer First Capital Partners, where he is responsible for the firm's investment strategy, acquisitions, capital allocation, and portfolio management. Throughout his career, he has worked across the full investment lifecycle, partnering with lenders, developers, legal counsel, and operating teams to evaluate opportunities and execute complex real estate transactions.

Prior to founding Consumer First Capital Partners, Mr. Watson served as Vice President of Investments at ApexOne Investment Partners, where he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring, and executing multifamily investment opportunities across acquisitions, dispositions, and joint venture developments. During his tenure, he helped lead more than $1.1 billion in multifamily transactions across approximately 4,700 apartment units throughout the U.S.

Before joining ApexOne Investment Partners, Mr. Watson began his career at Cypress Point Equity Partners, where he underwrote multifamily acquisition opportunities, supported asset management initiatives for a 1,000-unit portfolio, and prepared financial analyses and reporting for lenders and investors.

Mr. Watson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
